The confirmed launch price
Refugium Games announced a $29.99 US list price in Principal Carpenter's August 2 letter. Players who buy during the first seven days receive a 10% launch discount, making the US price $26.99 before tax.
Steam applies regional pricing, so the exact amount in another currency should be checked on the local store at launch. A converted US price is not a reliable regional price.
What the price covers
The announced package is a single-player story estimated at roughly ten hours, with 32 main missions, 15 side activities, five lesson types, two endings, a handcrafted town, bikes, jobs, collectibles and customization.
The developer is equally clear about the limits: this is not multiplayer, a giant AAA sandbox, a deep role-playing game or an endless school-life simulator. Judge the value against that focused scope rather than features the game never promised.
Buy for a focused indie school adventure—not for an unlimited life simulator or a Rockstar-sized open world.
